

Georgia Center for Total Cancer Care at Coliseum Medical Center (Macon)The GCTCC at Coliseum Medical Center houses GCS, Coliseum Radiation Partners (an affiliate of AOA), and Dermatologic Surgery Specialists. Residents of Middle Georgia will now be able to receive all aspects of cancer care in one centralized location, including oncology, hematology, radiation oncology, x-ray and CT imaging, dermatology, and a fully equipped pharmacy.

Cheryl F. Jones, MD Dr. Jones served as the Chief of Staff for the Coliseum Medical Center and President of the Bibb County Medical Society in 2004. She also serves on the Board of Directors for the Middle Georgia Affiliate of the Susan G. Komen Foundation and of the Burke Foundation. She has served on the Board of Directors of the American Cancer Society for both the State of Georgia and for Bibb County, where she was president in 2001. She is a member of numerous professional societies including the Society of Clinical Oncology, American Medical Association, Medical Association of Georgia, and the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Physicians.

Sean Cavanaugh, MDDr. Cavanaugh began his education with an undergraduate degree in Physics and a student internship at the Las Alamos National Laboratories Proton Facility, followed by Medical School at Texas Tech University. During Residency he completed the Holman Research pathway through the American Board of Radiology and then began private practice. He and his wife, Dr. Laura Cavanaugh, were Medical School classmates and have been blessed with four children
Dr. Cavanaugh is board certified by The American Board of Radiology and is a member in good standing of The American Society of Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology, The International Society for Radiosurgery, and The Radiological Society of North America.
